The True Way to Experience Paris is through the Petit Palais 🏰🗼

The Petit Palais is located just across from the Musée de l'Orangerie, a short street away. You can buy a combined ticket for the Musée de l'Orangerie and the Musée d'Orsay (valid for a week to visit the other unused museum, remember to keep the purchase receipt, the staff specifically reminded me). Although the Petit Palais may not be as famous for its architecture, sculptures, and collections, it has everything you need and it's all free!! 🆓 The main attraction is that many exhibits embody French romance and subtle irony. ✨ One more thing, if you're staying in Paris for three days or more, I highly recommend the Paris Visite Pass (a single trip from Charles de Gaulle Airport costs over 11 euros, and round trips to Versailles are about 9 euros, plus unlimited metro and bus rides within the city, it's really cost-effective). Most recommendations on Xiaohongshu suggest walking to the attractions, which is possible, but it's quite tiring and can be very leg-consuming. ✨ Lastly, you need to download an app to register and purchase the Paris Visite Pass, which requires a VPN. I didn't receive the verification code using my Gmail and QQ email, but I successfully received it when I switched to my NetEase 163 email. ✨ For the numerous museums in Paris, I personally suggest that if you're not particularly artistic, it's not advisable to buy a pass to see them all, as aesthetic fatigue is a real thing. ✨ The much-hyped Seine River cruise feels rather dull to me 😑 and it lasts for an hour. ✨ And the most important point, Paris customs are very slow.
