The Ultimate Chill Vacation Spot!
Picking up from Charleston, it's just a 2-hour drive north to reach this coastal paradise. Since we prefer quiet beaches, we stayed at Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes on the north side. The beach? STUNNING. The sand is powder-fine and silky under your feet. But the real MVP is the massive pool downstairs—I could literally float all day (if the sun wasn't trying to roast me alive ☀️😅). 🚗 Broadway vs. Broadwalk: NOT the Same! (I learned the hard way) Broadway is a lake-centered commercial complex—a shopper's dream with everything in one circle. Hit up the Oceanarium and Wonderworks (both worth a peek). The Hangout had a live band doing '80s throwback hits—total blast! 🎸 Also grabbed an ice cream sandwich that hit the spot. 🍦 Broadwalk is just a pure beach boardwalk—crowded, chaotic, sirens wailing constantly. The main attraction is the Skywheel Ferris Wheel 🎡 for panoramic beach views, but honestly? Skip the crowds and stick to Broadway. 🍳 Foodie Alert: Brunch & Chinese Cravings Sorted! Near our hotel, TWO brunch spots are MUSTS: Blueberry Restaurant 🫐 Drift Both are insanely delicious—trust me, your taste buds will thank you! For the Chinese food cravings: Dumpling & Seafood Restaurant) 🥟 Nine Spices Hotpot & BBQ (hotpot + BBQ buffet) 🍲 Both hit the spot when you need that taste of home! 🇨🇳✨ Bottom line: Myrtle Beach is vacation mode: ACTIVATED. Great for families, foodies, and anyone who needs a beach reset. Pack sunscreen and an appetite! #US #Florida #Jacksonville #Orlando #Charleston
