The Ultimate City Walk Guide
Welcome to the second stop on our West USA road trip! We used Las Vegas as a convenient transit hub, spending one night on the way out and another on the way back. This gave us just enough time for a high-energy, half-day "City Walk" to hit the most iconic spots on the Strip. Here's our efficient, no-fuss guide to seeing the best of Vegas in a few hours. 🌟 The Must-See Checklist We prioritized the most photogenic and iconic landmarks. Here's the route we took: 1️⃣ Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign 📸 The Vibe: The quintessential Vegas photo op. ⏰ Pro-Tip: We arrived before 8:00 AM, and it was the best decision ever. There was virtually no line! There's a small free parking lot right there, but the spaces are very limited, so arriving early is key to snagging one. 2️⃣ Luxor Hotel & Casino 🔺 The Look: You can't miss the massive, black glass pyramid. It's an architectural marvel that dominates the southern end of the Strip. 3️⃣ Mandalay Bay 🚊 Transit Hub: From here, you can hop on the free tram that connects to other southern hotels, saving your legs for the walking ahead. 4️⃣ Excalibur Hotel & Casino 🏰 The Vibe: This hotel looks like a giant, cartoonish medieval castle. It's a fun sight, especially for families. 5️⃣ New York-New York Hotel & Casino 🗽 The Highlights: Features a miniature Statue of Liberty and a roller coaster that zips through a replica NYC skyline. 🍫 Sweet Stop: Don't miss the Hershey's Chocolate World on the ground floor. It's a sugar-filled paradise. 6️⃣ MGM Grand 🦁 The Icon: Look for the massive, iconic golden lion statue at the entrance. It's a classic Hollywood movie scene come to life. 7️⃣ M&M's World & Coca-Cola Store 🥤 The Experience: This is a two-for-one stop. At the Coca-Cola Store, you must try the "Taste Around the World" sampler, which lets you taste 14 different international Coke flavors. Upstairs, you can take a photo with a giant Coke bottle and browse tons of cool merchandise, including custom-printed glasses. #US #Florida #Las Vegas
