The W Hotel in Union Square, New York

Cons: 🌸🍃 The restaurant is still under renovation, so breakfast is very basic, with only coffee and croissants available. The elevators are old and haven't been updated, which means longer wait times and a smaller space inside. 🚗 Pros: 🌸🍃 The hotel was just renovated in October 2024, and the rooms have a modern style. Even though I stayed in a basic room without using an upgrade voucher, the room was quite spacious, around 30-40 square meters. It was a huge difference compared to the Edition in Times Square. 🏠 Although it's in a bustling area right next to Union Square, the soundproofing and blackout curtains are excellent. I had no issues sleeping at night and was very satisfied. 😌 After checking into the room, the staff came to ask if I needed slippers, toothbrushes, or anything else. The service was great and very convenient. 👍 🌸🍃 The location is fantastic, close to the East Village. If you're craving Asian cuisine, it's super convenient. 🍔 Summary: Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. The room was spacious, newly renovated, with good soundproofing and blackout features. 🌸🍃 Everything I needed was delivered promptly. However, being a Marriott member in the US seems to have no real benefits. #NewYork 🌆
