Even though I snapped some stunning photos in Wadi Warika, the trip was riddled with hassles! 😩 No Change for the Taxi Ride - Ugh, talk about a bummer!🚕💸 Street Parking Scams 👀 - People on the street would "help" you park and then demand payment. Sneaky! 🚗😡Parking Scare Tactics - Once, as I drove by, someone tried to offer parking services. When I declined with a wave, he slammed my side mirror and banged on my car, trying to pull a scam! (I cursed all the way and drove off—never get out of the car!) "Helpful" Guides with Hidden Fees 🧭 - Seemingly nice locals would ask where you're going and offer to guide you, only to demand money later. Constant Begging 🙏🗣️ - People kept stretching out their hands for money, speaking in Arabic. Eventually, I just started responding in Cantonese to throw them off! Hotel Staff Haggling Advice - Even the local hotel staff advised me to haggle mercilessly—starting by slashing prices in half! I'm not a fan of this bargaining culture; it feels like merchants overprice just to rip you off.🏨💬 But hey, they handled all the arrangements, so I didn't have to lift a finger. 🤷‍♀️ But amidst all the chaos, there were moments of pure magic: 🧊 Luxury Air-Conditioned Desert Tents, 🔥 Bonfire Nights, 🌃 Gazing at the Vast Starry Sky, 💥 Camel Rides, Two Breakfasts, and 🍽️ Two Dinners!
