The Yayoi Kusama Museum in Tokyo can only be ticketed online (1)⚫️
🟡 Reservation Required I used to be quite resistant to visiting here, thinking that the "Queen of Polka Dots" was probably an artist "hyped up" by the market. 🔴 But today, since I had a class nearby, I made a reservation two days in advance, thinking I should see for myself why she is favored by luxury brands and has achieved such global "commercial success." The venue is not large, with only four floors, and each floor doesn't have much content. Only the yellow polka-dot pumpkin on the fourth floor, which is outdoors, is photogenic. 🔴 1F: Entrance ticket check 2F: Large installation + a series of oil paintings 3F: Video art with three glass walls creating an immersive effect similar to Teamlab, where Yayoi Kusama is singing a ballad about death 🔴 4F: A small open reading corner + the outdoor pumpkin🟡⚫️Staff are very kind and will help you take photos Take the elevator🛗straight down to 1F to end your exhibition journey. ⚫️Do not miss the elevator, which is covered in red polka dots and is very photogenic! #Tokyo 🌟
