The enchanting new daytime attraction presents a one-of-a-kind experience in Filoli’s redwood forest , decorated with tiny model trains and fairy houses , an Elf Emporium for dressing up, and a toy shop. Things to do at Thistlewyck --------------------------- Thistlewick transports visitors to a woodland world based on an imagined folklore of the Bay Area . The story goes that local fairies and creatures dreamed up a mythical train that darted along the coast, leaving a trail of tiny villages in its wake. One of the hidden stops is right here in Filoli’s redwood grove, shrouded among the sequoias and drifting coastal fog. This season, Thistlewyck opens its doors for the first time, beckoning families to dress up at the Elf Emporium , sip on hot cocoa, purchase trinkets and treasures at the Toy Shop, and watch tiny locomotives travel through magical miniature fairy towns. Kids can collect memories at each train stop with the Thistlewyck Passport , which guides you through the experience.
