This "snow-capped fairy tale lodge" in Pokhara is better for photos than for staying When I saw someone recommend Bhanjyang Village Lodge—the "fairy tale cottage" atop Sarangkot in Pokhara—I was instantly drawn in! It looks stunning, perfect for photos 📸, and the viewing location seemed unbeatable. I even wanted to stay there for two nights to soak it all in. Thankfully, I checked it out in advance—otherwise, it might have been a letdown 😅: Since the restaurant is open to the public, there are crowds of tourists coming for photos and meals every day. The lodge has very few rooms (so no real choices), and privacy is practically nonexistent—visitors wander right outside your room taking pictures 📷. But! The food is delicious 😋, and the views are incredible. It’s totally worth making a special trip by car for afternoon tea or dinner. The restaurant perches on a cliff, with a jaw-dropping 7,000+ meter elevation drop right in front of you—a vast, awe-inspiring scene that ranks among life’s rare, unforgettable moments 🌟! We hired a car round-trip from the Mountain Museum for 2,000 NPR—for reference 📝. If you want to stay on the mountain, there are other hotels nearby. The one in photo 9, Hotel Annapurna View Sarangkot, looks like it has equally amazing views 🏔️. We didn’t get to check it out, but feel free to explore if you’re interested! In short, this fairy tale lodge is best for a visit—sipping tea ☕️ or dining with snow peaks in sight, snapping effortless shots. For actually staying? Opt for somewhere quieter and more private instead 😉! #NepalTravel #PokharaAccommodation #Pokhara #SnowMountainViews #Sarangkot #LifeInATownBeneathSnowPeaks
