Went with friends to Sofun Noodle in LIC today — we’ve ordered delivery many times, but this was our first visit to dine in. 🍜✨ We tried several different noodle dishes and snacks, and everything was seriously delicious! First, the Classic Lu Fen (Braised Noodles) — the broth was rich, aromatic, and spicy 🌶️, with that authentic Hunan braised flavor. The noodles had a perfect QQ texture and soaked up all the savory goodness. Couldn’t stop eating! 😌 Next, the Pickled Chili Beef Noodles — the tangy-spicy kick from the pickled chilies was incredible! The beef slices were tender, and the sour-spicy balance made every bite refreshing and addictive. Just the right level of heat for spice lovers! 🔥 The Hunan Stir‑Fried Pork Noodles were also a standout — fragrant, wok‑kissed pork with a smoky aroma, deeply flavorful and paired wonderfully with the smooth noodles. But it wasn’t just about the noodles! Their Soup Dumplings (Xiaolongbao) were juicy with thin, delicate wrappers 🥟, and the Durian Pastry was crispy outside with a luscious, fragrant durian filling — durian lovers, you’ll be in heaven! 😍 The space is clean and cozy, service is super friendly, and food came out fast after ordering.
