This Las Vegas Japanese Spot Is Seriously Good đŸ¶âœš

I usually eat on the Strip when in Vegas, but this time I took a cab to try the much-recommended Raku—and it was a delicious surprise! Price is on the higher side depending on what you order, but worth it. Top Recommendations: 🩱 Foie Gras – Incredibly smooth, rich, and melt-in-your-mouth. If ordering skewers, get a bowl of rice too (they also have foie gras rice). The slightly charred surface with a touch of sweet foie gras glaze is perfection—don’t miss it if you’re a fan! đŸ„© A5 Wagyu – Juicy, flavorful, every bite is pure pleasure. Topped with a hint of wasabi—even if you don’t like wasabi, it’s not overpowering and adds a nice aromatic finish. I’ve had bad sashimi experiences in Vegas before (once paid $200 for a platter that tasted like plastic 😅). But here, the tuna (daily special) was surprisingly fresh—especially the fatty cut. I joked with the server: “Did the chef go fishing after we ordered?” Served with a small piece of black seaweed—tastier than soy sauce! đŸ„š Poached Egg with Uni & Ikura – Mixed it all together—rich umami, tastes like the ocean 🌊. Could use a bit more uni though. 🧈 Raku Tofu – A classic appetizer almost every table orders. Silky but not too soft—I’d love it even more with some extra seasoning or sauce. đŸ” Green Tea CrĂšme BrĂ»lĂ©e – So good! Smooth matcha flavor, not too sweet. The caramelized top is where the sweetness shines (just a bit sticky on the teeth). 📍 Raku 5030 Spring Mountain Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89146 #FoodReview #LasVegas #JapaneseFood #VegasEats đŸŁđŸ”„
