This NYC Michelin Star Is Perfect for Winter 🍲❄️
My boyfriend and I recently visited Vestry, a Michelin-starred spot in Soho. Loved the cozy vibe (and the fuzzy purple cushions!). The hostess was super sweet, complimenting my dress and calling me “gorgeous”—what a mood booster! 😄💜 👉 Mushroom Soup Rich, creamy soup with smoked chicken, mushrooms, and black truffle. A bit salty, but perfect for a cold, rainy day. The chicken was tender—truffle lovers will adore this. 🍄🍗 👉 Yellowfin Tuna Tartare Unique presentation—served with crispy sesame crackers (tasted like sesame candy!). Fresh, delicate, and fun to assemble. 🐟✨ 👉 Handmade Gnocchi Dense, square-shaped gnocchi in a creamy sauce with plump shrimp and goat cheese. Comforting and flavorful. 🦐🧀 👉 Faroe Island Salmon Tender but had a slight fishy note—probably not the best prep. ⚠️ Skip this one. 👉 Organic Peri Peri Chicken Two juicy drumsticks and a breast piece with cartilage. Served with smoked mushrooms and fried veggies—way better than the salmon! 🍗🔥 Drinks: 🍹 Kestrel – a lychee, rose, and black tea mocktail—refreshing and floral. 🍹 Peachy Keen – peach and lime mocktail, tangy but not as good as Kestrel. Dessert: 🥥 Coconut Tapioca – thick, creamy, with larger, softer sago pearls—just sweet enough. 📍 Vestry – Soho, NYC 💵 ~$150 per person #NYCEats #MichelinStar #SohoNYC #FineDining #NYCFoodie #WinterComfort #MatataEats #NYCDining #SpecialOccasion #FlavorEscape #MustTryNYC #FoodieMemory
