This Old-School Toronto Steakhouse is Simply Amazing!

Picked this spot to celebrate my birthday, and the food was beyond expectations. 🥗Classic Caesar ⭐️⭐️⭐️: It’s pretty standard, but the cheesy croutons are a nice touch. Refreshing as a starter, and the portion is generous. 🍣Tuna Tartare ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: I’m a big fan of beef tartare, but since they didn’t have it, I opted for this. The tuna is paired with avocado puree, and the sauce leans towards a sweet and tangy flavor. It’s different from other tartares I’ve tried. The taro chips on top 🍠 add a unique twist—definitely worth trying! 🍰Cheesecake ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: The strawberries on top are huge 🍓, which is rare in Toronto. I’m not usually into sweets, but this cake had just the right balance. My highest praise for a dessert is that it’s not too sweet! The cheesecake is incredibly creamy, almost like a Basque cheesecake, and the cookie base isn’t dry like others. 🍝Mushroom & Truffle Tagliatelle ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: I have to give this one a proper shoutout! I usually find cream-based pasta too rich, so I wasn’t expecting much. But after the first bite, I couldn’t stop eating. The mushrooms were sautéed perfectly, giving them a smoky flavor 🍄. The cream was rich without being overwhelming, and the truffle aroma was the perfect finishing touch. If you like mushrooms, this is a must-try! 🥩NY Strip ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: For those who prefer a steak with less fat, this is a good choice. I like mine medium, and the beef was beautifully marbled. I ordered the 14 oz, which was filling even without sides. I added mushrooms as a topping—delicious! 🥩Filet ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Their filet is also great, with a richer fat content. Every bite is full of flavor. If my friend hadn’t ordered it, I probably would have finished it all myself! 🍗Roasted Chicken ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: I didn’t expect a steakhouse to serve such incredible roasted chicken! It received unanimous praise from everyone at the table—so tender! It completely changed my perception of roasted chicken. In the end, this dish was devoured by everyone😋. 🧀Burrata ⭐️⭐️⭐️: I’m allergic to tomatoes, so I asked them to serve it separately. Normally, you’d eat it with tomatoes, but I had it with mushrooms instead. It was good, but didn’t quite meet my expectations. If you’re curious, give it a try!
