📍 This Taishanese Restaurant Just Became
A few years ago, I visited once and only remembered the ridiculously long wait for the eel rice 😅… This time, I returned — and every dish impressed! The Salted Egg Yolk Pumpkin especially stole the crown 🏆 as the BEST I’ve had in Seattle! (I’ve ordered this dish everywhere, but other places make the batter too thick — here, it’s perfectly thin and crispy!) 🍚 Eel Rice (Yellow Eel Clay Pot Rice) A must-order! We were a group of 7, and a small portion was enough for everyone to have a bowl. They even serve an extra plate of scorched rice crust — a dream for crispy rice lovers! 📞 Pro tip: Call 30 mins ahead to pre-order this — it’ll be ready when you arrive! 🌿 Mustard Green Tripe A cold appetizer with a wasabi-like kick — surprisingly delicious and refreshing! Definitely worth trying. 🍳 Sweet & Sour Egg A sweet-tangy deep-fried egg dish — unique and tasty! 🥬 Other Dishes Pea shoots, eggplant hotpot, and oyster mushroom beef — all solid, classic, and well-executed. 🀄 Inside Scoop Heard there’s a mahjong room upstairs! My roommate went to check it out — not great ventilation, but seems free to use! 🆓 🚗 Parking: Available right outside 💰 Price: ~$30+ per person — super filling and great value! 📍 Circle Chinese Cuisine 1734 Central Ave S, Kent, WA 98032 🏷️ #SeattleEats #CircleChineseCuisine #TaishaneseFood #SeattleFoodie #ChineseFood #SeattleLife #MustTry #FoodReview #SeattleChinese #ComfortFood
