This Year’s Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Is The First From Massac
Sure, it’s the week of Halloween, but news of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree has just arrived, so now we’re in a holiday state of mind. Anyone else feeling festive? This year’s Norway Spruce is going to be a special one — the first from Massachusetts since 1959. After 65 years, we New Yorkers have decided to add a little New England flair to their annual Christmas celebration, courtesy of West Stockbridge, MA. On Thursday, November 7th, the tree will be cut down, and it will arrive in NYC on Saturday, November 9th. If you want to see the iconic spruce before it gets decked out in 50,000 LED lights and topped with a Swarovski crystal star, mark your November calendars! It’s definitely something all New Yorkers should experience at least once! And of course, the beloved tree lighting will usher in the Christmas season on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024. Details are still to be determined, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted as soon as we learn more. And once the season gets going, believe it or not, the best time to see the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree might not be what you’re thinking. (It might require an early wakeup time, but we promise it’ll be worth it.) Might we also suggest booking a chalet at Rockefeller Center and some time on the ice rink (now open) to truly ring in the season in the most NYC way possible. We don’t know about you, but we’re definitely anxious for a lovely NYC winter! Source: https://secretnyc.co/rockefeller-center-christmas-tree-arrival/
