This Year’s Valentine’s Surprise Came from Napa! 😍
This Valentine’s Day, we booked a getaway trip to Napa and revisited this Spanish tapas spot (mainly because everywhere else was fully booked 😅). I’d been here once pre-COVID with a big group and didn’t pay much attention to the food back then — but this time, it truly surprised me! We ordered 7 dishes between the two of us, and every one was a hit: 🥖 Ibérico Ham + Bread A must-order whenever it’s on the menu. So flavorful! 🐟 Tuna Tartare Not a classic Spanish dish, but light, fresh, and not fishy at all. 🥪 Salted Fish Sandwich A bit adventurous due to the strong flavor of bacalao, but worth trying for something different. 🍅 Classic Tapas So good we asked for extra bread to finish all the sauce! 🥘 Paella Absolutely LOVED it — more complex and flavorful than others I’ve tried. Personally rank this above Telefèric! 🍖 Special of the Day: Roasted Lamb Shank Tender and tasty, but not mind-blowing. Solid choice though. 🍰 Tres Leches Cake A traditional Latin dessert — moist, sweet, and a fun way to end the meal. Honestly, the Bay Area doesn’t have many great Spanish restaurants. I’ll definitely be back for the paella and garlic shrimp next time I’m in Napa! ❤️ 📍 Zuzu 829 Main St, Napa, CA 94559 #BayAreaEats #NapaEats #SpanishFood #ValentinesDay #FoodReview #BayAreaFoodie #NapaValley
