Three Must-Visit Mexican Conchas in New York (1)๐ŸŒฎ

These Mexican conchas are so good that I keep going back for more! ๐ŸŒŸ I'm a huge fan of Mexican conchas, and I've shared my love for Masa Madre and Thea Bakery before. This time, I'm adding a simple neighborhood shop to the list: 1๏ธโƒฃ Thea Bakery ๐Ÿฅฏ Cinnamon Coffee & Vanilla Bean Concha - $4.50 ๐Ÿ“ Run by Theodora's Tomer Blechman, Thea Bakery is a 2024 newcomer that adds a touch of Mexican and Middle Eastern flair. I tried two conchas: the Cinnamon Coffee and the classic Vanilla Bean. I personally loved the grown-up flavor of the Cinnamon Coffee. The bread was fluffy but not as delicate as I would have liked. ๐Ÿž 2๏ธโƒฃ Mi Mexico Pequeno ๐Ÿฅฏ Concha with Nutella - $2, Regular Concha - $1 ๐Ÿ“ This little Mexican shop is a hidden gem I discovered on my way home from Brooklyn. It looks like a grocery store from the outside, but inside, there's a whole row of carb delights. The bread smells amazing, and there are over ten varieties to choose from. I got a Nutella-filled concha and three regular ones. The top layer was perfectly crisp, and the bread was dense and filling. However, my little one prefers a lighter, airier texture. ๐Ÿฅง 3๏ธโƒฃ Neighborhood Gem (TBD) ๐Ÿ“ I'm always on the lookout for more hidden treasures in New York. If you have any recommendations for another great place to get Mexican conchas, let me know! ๐ŸŒŸ #NewYork #ConchaLovers ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŽข
