📍 Beacon's Closet: As mentioned before, Beacon's Closet in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, is one of my top spots for thrifting in NYC. Let's take a look at some items I encountered and my decision to thrift or pass on them! Everlane Heels: The color of these heels was stunning, and with an original retail price of $175, they seemed like a great deal. However, they were a bit too small, and I wasn't sure about their frequency of use. Pass. Puffer Jacket: Although it's only August, I was tempted by this puffer jacket, perfect for winter skiing. The original retail price was $550, and it was in excellent condition. I decided to pass because I thought I was getting too ahead of the season for winter shopping! Ballet Flats: I absolutely adored these ballet flats; they were in perfect condition with a gorgeous color. Sadly, they were a size too big for me. I hope they find a loving home with someone who will cherish them as much as I would! Pass. Vintage Miu Miu Bag: Saving the best for last, this vintage Miu Miu bag was a steal at $45. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it. This purchase made the day a complete success! Thrift. 🌟 Rating: I give Beacon's Closet a high rating for its diverse and well-curated selection.
