Tianjin Flavors in the Nordic Land of Ningguta
πI've always heard that this place is the only spot in Stockholm where you can get a taste of Jianbing Guozi (Tianjin-style crepes), and there are many other small dishes to choose from! The hostess is very friendly, no wonder the restaurant is named "Laolao" the dishes are incredibly close to what my grandma used to cook back home, I absolutely love it.π Braised Beef πππππ πSuper! Delicious! It tastes just like my grandma's cooking back home! I especially love the braised carrots, and the beef is stewed until it's tender and flavorful.π Beef/Peking Duck/Sichuan Shredded Chicken Jianbing πππππ πIt's a bit of a pity that the crepes aren't filled with a whole piece of fruit (referring to the crispy crepe filling), but rather in small, less noticeable pieces. Among the three flavors, I like the beef the best, which seems to be made with marinated beef. If only it could be a bit more moist, it would be perfect! The Peking Duck flavor is also good, but not particularly surprising. Cold Cucumber Salad πππππ πI really love this! Originally, it came as a side dish with the Jianbing, but we specially ordered an extra portion from the boss at a friend's request. It's very crunchy and juicy, perfect for the recent nice weather!π #LifeInSweden #StudyingInSweden #NordicLife #ExploreWithMe #ChineseFood #WeekendExploration #Stockholm #StockholmFood #StockholmExplore ### name:Lao Lao address:Hornsgatan 63, 118 49 Stockholm type:place ###
