Recommendation: πππππ ππ’ Summer is back with a vengeance, and Tokyo's relentless temperatures in the thirties are almost enough to cook us all! ππΈ I highly recommend an indoor cooling spot that I visit every summer: the Meiji Shrine Outer Garden Ice Rink. πΏ The rink is super professional, catering to both figure skating and ice hockey. There are also classes and professional training courses available. ππ’ If you go in the afternoon, you might not get as much skating time since there are two ice-sweeping sessions, but you'll get to experience the freshest and smoothest ice. However, I suggest going earlier to maximize your fun. ππΈRemember to wear a jacketβit's quite chilly on the ice. Also, be mindful of safety while skating, especially with lots of kids around.
