Tokyo | Hama Rikyu Onshi Teien ๐ผ
Take a stroll through the garden before heading to Odaiba to see the sea. ๐ Hama Rikyu is located right in the middle of Shimbashi and Shiodome, both stations on the Hato Bus Line. ๐ Unlike other gardens๐ก,because of its seaside location and being surrounded by high-rise buildings, the view here is somewhat similar to Shinjuku Gyoen. ๐ You can even see the Rainbow Bridge from the seaside. ๐โจ The garden is near Tokyo Bay,originally built during the Edo period (1603-1867),it was a villa for the shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate and later became an imperial villa for the Japanese royal family. ๐There are several simple imperial teahouses in the garden, where you can sit quietly, sip tea, and enjoy the view. Now it's a historical site open for visitors. Unfortunately, when I went in the afternoon, the strong backlight made it impossible to capture the red Tokyo Tower. ๐โจ #SummerCoolingFlavors #TokyoLife ๐โจ
