Tokyo Architecture Tour
First StopโTokyo Midtown by Kengo Kuma ๐ ๐๐ธ Tokyo Midtown, designed by the architectural master Kengo Kuma, incorporates bamboo elements just like the Nezu Museum. ๐ฟ๐This building, which has been standing for nearly 20 years, may no longer be trendy, but it still looks so pleasing to the eye! ๐ฟ Second Stop: National Art Center, Tokyo ๐๐ธ A masterpiece by the Japanese architectural master Kisho Kurokawa. ๐ฟ๐The wavy glass facade, resembling undulating waves, symbolizes the "sea of art." The giant concrete cone in the central hall, with its light-permeable top, creates a sense of natural light and spatial flow. ๐๐ธ It's also said to be a filming location for movies like "Your Name." ๐ฌ Third Stop: Azabudai Hills ๐ฟ๐Azabudai Hills is a commercial complex completed in 2023. It's said that from planning to the completion of the first phase, it took over 30 years. The architectural spaces are varied and well-utilized. Although the traffic flow may seem a bit unclear at first, the spatial experience is really great! ๐ ๐ฟ๐ #Tokyo #ArchitectureTour ๐
