πππ£ Tokyo Autumn Must-Visit: Showa Kinen Park! π£ππ
πππ£ Tokyo Autumn Must-Visit: Showa Kinen Park! π£ππ The long-awaited red leaf season has finally arrived, and it came quite late this year. I was checking the weather forecast and red leaf reports daily... Finally, I picked a sunny day this week to visit Showa Kinen Park for some photo-taking, relaxation, and to capture the autumn vibes! There's also a ginkgo nighttime lighting event happening recently. π During the day, I found the lake in the middle more beautiful than the ginkgo avenue because the ginkgo trees have been pruned and look a bit bare, making it hard to appreciate. After taking photos of the ginkgo, I walked deeper into the park and from afar, I could see the green, yellow, orange, and red hues on the opposite shore, as if witnessing the transition from summer to autumn. The colorful reflections on the lake were truly stunning. π₯Ή You can even see the moon during the day (I feel like I'm writing an elementary school essay). Friends with ample time can rent a boat! It's only 800 yen for an hour, which is very affordable, and there are two types to choose from: swan boats and rowing boats! It's very pleasant to row and chat on a crisp autumn day. π If you're heading straight to the lake, it's much closer to enter the park through the Nishi-Tachikawa Gate! If you get off at Tachikawa Gate, it's a 20-minute walk... The nighttime lighting event is very beautiful! Although it's crowded on weekdays, weekends are probably even more intense. Walking through the ginkgo forest with soothing and gentle music is quite touching The lighting changes colors every so often, which is very cool, and there are couples everywhere. Those who just want to take photos might find it a bit challenging, haha. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit! The entrance fee is only 450 yen, and you can just use your transportation card to enter. πͺ #LifeInJapan #LifeInTokyo #TokyoWeekend #WeekendHappinessBits
