Tokyo City Walk ๐จ The Hidden Corners of Minami-Aoyama
I have to say, Minami-Aoyama is just one of those places that you can never get tired of exploring ๐. Besides the numerous boutiques and shopping spots, this area is also brimming with an artistic and cultural vibe ๐จ. This time, I happened to visit the Taro Okamoto Memorial Museum, tucked away on a street corner ๐. I had previously made a special trip to see the Sun Tower in Osaka, so I was pretty excited about this visit. The adult ticket to the museum is 650 yen, and the best part is that you're allowed to take photos freely ๐ธ. The museum is divided into indoor and outdoor sections. The first floor of the indoor area recreates the artist's studio, and there's also a nice souvenir shop with unique items ๐. The second floor displays works from different periods of Okamoto's career. The outdoor tropical garden is like a hidden paradise ๐ด๐บ, with colorful sculptures placed around in a whimsical way. It feels like you've stepped into a quirky fairy garden ๐ฟโจ. Even though the museum isn't very large, it does a great job of showcasing Taro Okamoto's artistic journey. I just don't get why the photos I took there turned out to be so funny and fashionable ๐ฟ๐บ. #TokyoTrip ๐
