Tokyo Day Trip 🍃 Escaping to the Mountains and Streams
Ogawa is truly a place you can never get tired of visiting! Blue skies, sake, streams, and hiking—all in one package!❣️ The routes can be as short or as long as you like, depending on your mood. 🌟🌿 Whether you want a leisurely stroll or a challenging hike to the summit, it's all available here. Whether you're a casual walker or an experienced hiker, you'll find something that suits you! 🚗 If you're driving, you can park at: ① Okutama Interchange Parking Lot (for those who want to take a longer route) ② Kanzan-ji Parking Lot (for those who want a leisurely walk) If you're taking the train, take the JR Ome Line → get off at「Sawa/Iizuka Station」. 🌟🌿 Right outside Iizuka Station, turn right and you'll find the【Sawa no Izumi Garden】! A traditional sake brewery built along the river, combined with a Japanese garden🌳. 🍱 Lunch recommendation: The tofu kaiseki at Sawa no Izumi Garden. The tofu is freshly made and incredibly tender! 🏃🏻♀️➡️ After lunch, follow the stream upstream. The entire route is gentle and the scenery is stunning. You can walk along the sound of the water. If you have time, you can even go all the way to Okutama Gorge or climb Mount Okutama. ⛰️ If you don't want to travel far on the weekend but still want to get close to nature, this route is truly delightful! 🌟🌿 It's perfect for city dwellers who need to refresh their lungs regularly! 🙂↕️🙂↕️ #TokyoSurroundings #JapaneseLifestyle #TokyoSuburbs 🍃
