Tokyo Delights (2)🥢
3️⃣ Sutaminaen ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My most-anticipated BBQ stop of the trip! 🥩🔥 I rocked up at 4:50 p.m. on a Thursday and braved the icy wind 🌬️ for almost two hours. The beef tongue was great, but the real MVPs were the cooked dishes—miso offal stew so good it could start a religion 🍲✨ and a daikon radish soup that hugged my soul 🥰. As a certified innards lover, I ordered a mountain of them. Zero funky smell, just solid flavor—though it didn’t quite blow my mind. Pricey little joint: we dropped ¥15,000 for two. 💸 4️⃣ Unagi Uomasa ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Missed out on Kabuto, so I tried Tokyo’s third-ranked eel spot instead. 🍱🌊 Not an unagi expert, but this place stole my heart! The sauce is delicate, letting the eel’s natural aroma shine, while the kiss of charcoal on the skin adds smoky magic 🦎💫. Bonus: eel-liver soup so fresh it sang sea shanties. Spotted some Juyondai sake in the fridge—couldn’t resist a cheeky glass 🍶🌸 #TokyoEats #FoodieAdventures
