Transportation Take the JR train to Mitaka Station, then it’s a 20-minute walk or a short bus ride on route to the museum. 🌸🍃 If you have time, I highly recommend walking, as you can spot the super cute Totoro signposts along the way Tickets 🌇🌿I booked my tickets in advance through a third-party platform (a certain pig-themed app 😊), and I was able to secure my preferred date and a 10 a.m. slot for just over 80. Compared to the risk of not getting tickets at all, this premium is totally worth it. Of course, the later you book, the more expensive it gets. 🌸🍃 One young lady in my group, who bought her ticket just a few days in advance, paid over 300, while some European friends in our group ended up paying a whopping 600+ through a European ticketing platform. My advice? Plan your trip as early as possible. If you have the time and patience, you can also try booking directly through the museum’s official website. 🌇🌿 All in all, it’s really worth it.
