Tokyo Hotels (1)π¨
π¨ Hotel Monterey Hanzomon The decor at Hanzomon isn't as nice as the one in Ginza, but it wins in terms of value for money. π Pros: Super convenient location. Just take the elevator from Exit 5 of Hanzomon Station, and the hotel is right across the street. π Well-equipped facilities and friendly service. On the first floor, you can help yourself to free drinks, DHC skincare samples, masks, tea bags, and more. π The rooms are relatively spacious; you can fully unfold a 28-inch suitcase. 𧳠Cons: Avoid rooms facing the street as they can be a bit noisy. You can communicate with the front desk in advance to request a quieter room. π π¨ Sotetsu FRESA INN Yokohama Totsuka Similar to Home Inn or 7 Days, the decor is pretty standard, but the facilities are quite complete. π Pros: Well-equipped. The front desk offers free samples of Yutianlan skincare products, toiletries, masks, tea bags, and more. The Pola hair mask is especially good! You can also borrow chargers, curling irons, and other items. πΊ Friendly service. I wanted to send my luggage to the next hotel and asked the front desk about the cost. The next day, I found a pre-filled shipping form slipped under my door, with a note in Chinese saying, βIf you want your luggage to arrive on xx date, you need to bring it to the front desk by xx time on xx date.β This little detail was really touching. π Cons: The address signage is not very clear. Actually, itβs quite close to the subway station. π The room is cleaned every three days. If you want daily cleaning, you need to hang a sign on the door. #Tokyo π
