Tokyo Opera City (2) ๐ถโจ
Sitting up close, you can see the violinists' and harpists' fingers dancing gracefully across the strings. ๐ข๐ You can also catch their little black shoes tapping lightly to the rhythm, each step perfectly in sync. ๐บ ๐ถ๐The repertoire was exquisiteโelegant and restrained, making you feel like you were right in the heart of a 17th-century French ball. The high notes were perfectly placed, incredibly comfortable to listen to. ๐ข๐ After the concert, all I could think of was how Ryotaro and Chiaki felt after their duet when Ryotaro declared, "I've decided to stick to classical music." ๐ถ ๐ถ๐I felt like the front-row view was just okay. Next time, I'll choose a seat upstairs. When I went to the third floor, I realized it was the best spot for sightlines. ๐ข๐ I watched a few seasoned gentlemen in the second rowโthey'd use binoculars sometimes, observe the conductor, and then get completely lost in the music, even dozing off. ๐ถ๐I have to say, ๐ฏ๐ต the older gentlemen really know how to enjoy themselves. In Japan, the places I've visited that felt the most fun were where the most ๐จโ๐ฆณ gentlemen were. From now on, I'll pick seats like theirs. ๐ข๐ After the concert, I promptly bought the CD and then headed to Bic Camera to get a CD player. A daily dose of nobility's spirit is a must! ๐ต ๐ถ๐ #GoToAMusical ๐ถ๐
