Tokyo Shibuya Kitayama Park (1)π
In search of coffee and a place to relax, we followed the navigation to this hidden gem of a park located on the backstreet of Shibuya Park Avenue. ππΏ Turning into a quiet alley from the fork of Park Avenue, a terraced green space comes into view. A wooden sign in the flower bed reads "KITAYA PARK" (North Valley Park), with the park logo designed by students from a nearby research institute. The park's main building is operated by the coffee brand Blue Bottle Coffee. Visitors to Shibuya can grab a cup of coffee and take a seat in the park to enjoy this rare tranquility, without worrying about finding a spot inside the cafΓ©. ππΏ The park is divided into three sections: the two-story building occupied by Blue Bottle, the flat rectangular plaza to the left of the building, and the amphitheater-style stepped garden to the right. ππΏ The small park covers only 960 square meters, and with varying road levels around it, some flower bed retaining walls have been used to plant ornamental trees and flowers, creating a refreshing and pleasant atmosphere. #Tokyo ππΏ
