Tokyo Shop Exploration | Melon Specialty Shop 🍈

Yesterday, after having dinner in Kagurazaka, my mom and I rushed to the nearby Melon & Roman for dessert. 🍃🌸 This place specializes in melon-themed sweets and drinks. Even though I usually dislike soda (I’m not a fan of carbonated drinks at all), I had the best melon soda here! It’s super popular at this shop. 🌇🌿 The light green bottom layer is real melon pulp, not like some cafes that use overly sweet, neon-green melon syrup 😂. 🍃🌸There’s a long slice of melon in the glass, which is quite sweet and juicy. On top, there’s a scoop of melon ice cream. Drinking this feels like stepping into summer! 🌇🌿 But what I really want to recommend is the melon pudding! 🍃🌸The texture is amazing, with rich dairy and melon flavors. It’s topped with two melon balls and a couple of small melon slices. My mom, who initially said she couldn’t handle any more sweets, ended up eating most of it and left me with just the cute melon balls 😭. 🌇🌿 You can choose between green or red melon pudding; I went with the green one. Downstairs, they also sell melon cream sandwiches, mini burgers, and even fresh melons. 🍃🌸 Next to the ordering counter, there’s free melon water you can enjoy.
