Tokyo Suntory Hall (1)๐ถ
๐ถโจThis was my very first live symphony concert experience, and what a start! It took place at the top-tier Suntory Hall in Asia. It was a contemporary symphony concert by Joe Hisaishi, breaking the stereotype of movie soundtracks. ๐๐ฟ When it comes to music, I don't confine myself to any specific form. But like having a mental obsession with purity, I want to know what truly good music is. ๐ถโจ In our limited understanding, Japanese symphonies have become the most accessible. Anticipation made me try to amplify my senses. The first half: "The End of the World." ๐๐ฟ It featured a tenor and a series of narrative-like developments and rich variations. It was truly a fantastic symphony performance. I heard it's also one of Joe Hisaishi's more mature works. ๐ถโจ However, the real resonance often comes unexpectedly. The second half: "Music of the Desert." From the moment they started changing instruments at the intermission, I got curious. ๐๐ฟ Since I'm interested in percussion for kids, I was intrigued when I saw the central area filled with a set of eight similar keyboard percussion instruments, all dominated by the marimba. I couldn't wait to see what would happen! ๐ถโจ #Tokyo #SymphonyConcert #JoeHisaishi ๐๐ฟ
