Tokyo Tower Hotel | Stayed at Aman and the New Janu (1)🌟

🌿This March, the newly opened Janu, the first young and vibrant brand under Aman, is located in Azabudai Hills, close to Roppongi and under Tokyo Tower, the new landmark. The Aman Residences are also here. 🌊 I stayed at Aman Tokyo first, in the Otemachi financial district of Ginza. Surrounded by people in suits, the CBD vibe definitely triggered my former worker PTSD—I couldn't help but feel like I was on a business trip. The Aman designed by Kerry Hill lived up to expectations, with Japanese elements of wood, paper, and stone, and striking light and shadow contrasts. 🌿 It was no surprise but harmonious and restrained. We didn't spend much time in the hotel, and we missed out on the onsen and spa (a plus was asking the front desk, and they said tattoos don't need to be covered). 🌊 Overall, it was a typical urban Aman experience. The room offered views of the Imperial Palace Garden and the cool Ginza skyline. #Tokyo 🌇
