Tokyo Toy Museum: A Perfect Indoor Playground for Kids 🎈
🎢🌸During Tokyo's sweltering summer, if you’re looking for an indoor activity to keep the kids entertained, the Tokyo Toy Museum is a fantastic choice! 🌟 The museum has three floors, though it’s not overly large. We arrived around 2 p.m. and found it relatively uncrowded, allowing us to explore at our own pace. 🌿🌟 The first floor requires advance reservations, which we missed out on, but the second and third floors were more than enough to keep the kids busy and happy. 🎢🌸The admission fee is quite affordable. Inside, nearly 99% of the toys and facilities are made of wood, with a mix of traditional Japanese toys and modern, well-designed playthings. 🌿🌟 There’s something for kids aged 1 to 8, ensuring everyone can have a great time. 🎢🌸 The museum is housed in a former elementary school, giving it a charming, retro atmosphere. Address: 🌿🌟 〒160-0004 Tokyo, Shinjuku City, Yotsuya, 4 Chome−20, Yotsuya Hiroba You can also search for "Tokyo Toy Museum" directly. There’s even a Fire Museum nearby, so you can easily visit both in one trip! 🎢🌸Opening Hours: 10:00-16:00 (Last entry at 15:30) 🌿🌟 Closed on Thursdays (except when Thursday is a national holiday, in which case it closes the following day), New Year holidays, and for maintenance. Admission Fees: 🎢🌸 Adults (junior high school students and older): 800 yen 🌿🌟Children (6 months to elementary school students): 500 yen Online tickets are available and recommended, especially for the baby play area. 🎢🌸 The Tokyo Toy Museum is a delightful place for kids and adults alike, offering a unique blend of play and learning. It’s perfect for a rainy day or just when you need a break from the heat. 🌤️ 🌿🌟 #Tokyo #TokyoTravel #FamilyFriendly 🌟
