Tokyo Travel Guide - Hotels(1) π
Upon landing at Tokyo Narita Airport, you'll be required to fill out a QR code for entry, mainly to check if you're bringing in fruits, meats, dairy products, etc. ππΈ They'll also ask why you're visiting Japan. Just reply with "tourism" or "sightseeing" β either in Japanese or English will do. π After clearing security, head to baggage claim, where your luggage should arrive fairly quickly. ππΈ I recommend taking the JR Highway Bus for 1500 yen. It stops at Tokyo Station and Ginza Station, with a journey time of about an hour and a half. Keep your luggage tag safe; staff are very particular and will only recognize the tag, not the person. π ππΈ For first-time visitors, where to stay largely depends on your budget. If you have a higher budget, you can opt for a luxury hotel closer to the city center. ππΈFor a lower budget, consider a guesthouse or a location slightly further out. This AC Marriott Hotel is pretty good. Though it's not huge, the rooms have a nice design touch, and they provide four bottles of water, which are quite refreshing. #Tokyo π
