Tokyo Weekend: Hiking at Lake Okutama (2)🌟
If you're tired and don't feel like walking to the floating bridge, you can take this free bus directly to Okutama Station. 🌿🌟 On Saturdays, it departs at 3:40 p.m. 🚌 "Drum Can Bridge" / Maiyama Floating Bridge 🌿🌟 The floating bridge is now supported by plastic barrels, and it does sway quite a bit as you walk across. However, the view from the bridge is very open, making it a great spot for photos. 📸 "Kogawa Shrine" 🌿🌟 Currently closed due to road repairs. 🛠️ Route & Time Okutama Lake Bus Stop (10 min) 🌿🌟 → Iko no Road Entrance (30 min) → Forest Road Endpoint (70 min) → Iko no Plaza (90 min) → Yama no Furusato Village (35 min) → Maiyama Floating Bridge (5 min) → Kogawa Shrine Bus Stop 🌿🌟 Total hiking time: 4 hours ⚠️ Note: The bus schedule includes a detour for part of the route. 🚗 #Japan #LifeInJapan 🌿🌟
