TONCHIN BROOKLYN ๐ My brain is buzzing from the saltiness!
๐๐ธAddress: 109 N 3rd St, Brooklyn, NY 11249, USA โ๏ธSmoked Dashi Today's star! Clam ramen, the broth is super seafood-flavored, very rich, oily, and salty with a smoky taste. It's hard to describe this unique flavor that I've never experienced before. I could only manage a couple of sips of the soup before I kept drinking water. ๐๐ธ The noodles weren't to my liking either. The soft-boiled egg wasn't very soft-boiled. I ate the nori separately. ๐ Tokyo Classic (featured image) My boyfriend ordered this one. I took a sip of the soup, but I was so shocked by my own ramen that I forgot whether this one was good or not. I just remember it had a pork bone broth base. (You can also add extra spicy oil for an additional $3 ๐ฅข) ๐๐ธ 6 PCs Tebasaki The fried chicken ๐ looks a bit dry. The fried chicken wings were okay, but the fried chicken thighs were a total miss โโthey were way too dry! The service was average, and it seemed like all the servers were Japanese. ๐๐ธ I probably won't be coming back here. It's a pity I didn't get to try their cotton soft ice cream. ๐ง #New York ๐ #Foodie #RestaurantReview ๐
