Too Many People in Tokyo, I Might Skip Next Time! (1)๐
Today was mostly about moving around. Checked out of Kikuya, and then it was off to Tsukuba via Tokyo. ๐๐ธ Since my travel buddy hadn't been to Tokyo before, I couldn't really plan a full itinerary, but we did manage to stop by the Outer Garden of the Imperial Palace and snap a quick photo at the Nijubashi Bridge. ๐ The Nijubashi Bridge is located in front of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, which is the residence of the Japanese Emperor. ๐๐ธThe palace was originally built as a castle by the Edo Shogunate in 1657 and became the Emperor's residence in 1888. The palace is surrounded by a vast moat, and the Nijubashi Bridge, also known as the "spectacles bridge" because of its shape, is one of the best photo spots in Tokyo. ๐ After arriving at Tokyo Station smoothly by JR, I planned to check my luggage first. But as soon as I got off the train, I was stunned by the massive crowds. Oh my gosh, Tokyo is just packed with people! ๐๐ธ The station was bustling with hurried travelers, and there were so many shops that I could probably spend a whole day just wandering around here. I looked it up, and Japan has a population of 123 million, with Tokyo accounting for 14 million of them. No wonder it's so crowded! ๐ฎ #Tokyo ๐
