🌸 Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers Guide
This year, Queensland's winter ended early! While flowers usually bloom in late September, this year they started blooming in early September! I visited #Toowoomba at the beginning of the month—even though I knew they weren’t in full bloom yet (I couldn’t wait because I had to fly back home! ✈️). But honestly, I never want to miss the #ToowoombaCarnivalOfFlowers—it’s just too stunning! 💐 📍 Best Flower Spots 🌷 Queens Park – The most diverse flowers in Toowoomba! 🌸 Laurel Bank Park – Famous for its wisteria tunnels (just 10 mins drive from Queens Park). ⛩️ Japanese Garden (USQ) – Cherry blossoms at the entrance, peach blossoms inside, and the adorable resident ducks are still there! 🦆 🚗 From Brisbane CBD: ~1 hour 50 mins drive. 🌺 Pro Tip Since I went too early, many flowers hadn’t fully bloomed yet—NOW (and next week) will be the BEST time to visit! 📸 Why Visit? Endless floral displays (Queens Park is a must!) Wisteria magic at Laurel Bank Park Serene Japanese garden vibes with cherry blossoms Perfect for a weekend escape from Brisbane! #Brisbane #BrisbaneLife #WeekendGetaway #ExploreBrisbane #BrisbaneDayTrips
