Toronto, Canada: Romantic Dining at the Top of TD Tower—Canoe 🌆🍽️
Usually, I can see the prominent TD Tower from my office’s floor-to-ceiling windows, so it’s super convenient to just walk over after work. This time, we went to Canoe for their tasting menu. They change their tasting menu each season, offering a variety of dishes that don’t repeat. The style is Canadian cuisine, and honestly, I’m not entirely sure what defines Canadian cuisine, but as long as it tastes good, that’s what matters! 😄 Without drinks, it’s $185🔪 per person, plus tax. The environment is undeniably great. We had a window-side table with a view of the very building we work in. It’s a typical Western-style restaurant with small, square tables. The distance between tables is a bit tight, but that’s pretty standard for Western restaurant setups, so not really a downside. Service was excellent, with detailed explanations of each dish's ingredients and sauces. 👍 I particularly enjoyed the pumpkin soup, and the lingcod was fantastic, as well as their mushroom sauce. The mushroom sauce was so delicious that I even snagged some from my husband’s plate! 😋🍄 Each dish is a small portion, but by the time we got to the rib course, I was so full that I could hardly eat another bite. We were three people, and regardless of gender, we all needed to support each other to get out! 😂 #RestaurantReview #TorontoEats #TorontoLife #LifeFragments #HiddenGems #FoodDaily #Foodie #TorontoDining #WeekendFun #FoodLovers ### Name: Canoe Address: 66 Wellington St W, Toronto Type: Restaurant ###
