Toronto’s Instagram-Worthy Spot 🍹 Glass Kitchen
Recently, I’ve noticed this creative fusion restaurant blowing up on social media, so I decided to check it out for my birthday. 🎉 🍹 Drinks: We ordered the Citrus Bloom and GK Sunshine. The gradient colors were absolutely stunning, but the taste was just okay. 🐟 Cured Hamachi: The presentation was beautiful, but unfortunately, the taste didn’t match. It came with a small jug of coconut milk-like sauce, which didn’t pair well with the Hamachi sashimi. Not a fan. 😕 🍢 Jakarta Lamb Skewer: This was fragrant and delicious! The skewer was coated in a layer of crushed peanuts—make sure to eat it while it’s hot. A must-try! 🌟 🍛 Korean Galbi Short Rib Wavy Crazy Gravy: Inspired by loco moco, this dish had a rich gravy served with an onsen egg and rice, which was tasty. The beef was braised, but felt a bit tough. 🤔 🥣 Hokkaido Scallop Risotto: The rice was cooked just right, and the flavor was intense. However, it was a bit too oily, making it easy to get tired of. The scallops were perfectly seared, fresh, and tender. 👍 🍰 Raspberry Lychee Baked Alaska: This dessert was hands down the best of the night! The outer layer was toasted marshmallow, with lychee and raspberry ice cream inside, paired with half a passion fruit. It was amazing! After a night of so-so dishes, this dessert was a true highlight. 😍 Overall, the dishes were visually stunning and perfect for photos 📷, but the flavors didn’t quite live up to the looks. #TorontoFusion #TorontoEats #TorontoFoodie #CanadaEats #WeekendEats #TorontoFusionCuisine #TorontoLife #CanadaLife #Foodie ### Name: Glass Kitchen Address: 505 Hwy7 Unit 98 & 99, Thornhill, ON Type: Restaurant ###
