Toronto | Alo’s Sister Restaurant 🍴 A Vibe-Filled Bistro 🥂🍞
I recently visited a super popular little bistro that’s Alo’s sister restaurant, and it’s been trending in Toronto for a while now! Even on a weekday night, it was fully booked 🔥. The service was also pretty great, so I thought I’d share my experience with everyone! East Coast Oysters: Their oysters 🦪 are pretty large and super fresh! Beef Tartare: The raw beef was a bit salty for me 🥵, but my friends thought it was just right! Bread: Surprisingly, the best thing was their bread! I loved it so much! It felt like brioche—served warm, and the side sauce tasted like foie gras, so rich and flavorful! Foie Gras Parfait: The combination of foie gras and pistachio was so delicious! I really liked it, but for me, it was just a tad too salty. Charred Scallop: The scallops were just okay. My friend thought they tasted a bit fishy, and with all the lemon sauce, it was too sour for me. Aloette Fried Quail: This fried quail was seriously good! Not greasy at all! Stuffed Chicken Wings: They deboned the wings for you—pretty good too! 10oz Prime Ribeye: We ordered the ribeye 🥩 medium-rare. My friend liked it, but I personally prefer the Côte de Bœuf! Black Sesame Doughnuts: My friend and I immediately knew we had to try these black sesame doughnuts 🍩! The dough was warm and the black sesame filling was cold—not too sweet, which I found pretty nice. Peachy Keen: A cocktail with a floral aroma! It was sweet and tangy, and the color was beautiful! Painted Water: A bit too sour for me, but still a nice sweet-and-sour drink! Red Wine: I can’t remember the bottle, but it had a sake-like fragrance to it! 🍷 #TorontoLife #TorontoVibes #TorontoEats #TorontoRestaurants #HiddenGems #WeekendSpots #WhereToGoThisWeekend #VibeDining ### Name: Aloette Restaurant Address: 163 Spadina Ave. 1st Floor, Toronto, ON M5V 2A5 Type: Restaurant ###
