I've had my eye on their "Night Date" $100 two-person set menu for a while. Since I was in the area today, I decided to give it a try. Honestly, this is the most satisfying meal I've had since returning to Toronto! šŸ“ Amuse Bouche: The amuse-bouche isn't fixed; we got two types of cheese, an egg pancake, meat patty, sausage, crepe, and apple. šŸ“ Hokkaido Scallops & Black Caviar: Delicious! The scallops and caviar were on the salty side, but the sauce and sides balanced it out, making for a rich and varied texture. šŸ“ Wagyu Beef Tartare: I’ll always love beef tartare, and this one had a bit of a kick with added Mexican hot sauce. šŸ“ Bone Marrow Over Gnocchi: The bone marrow was incredibly flavorful; it would’ve been perfect with some bread. The chef recommended mixing the marrow with the gnocchi, which had a rich cheesy taste—so addictive! šŸ“ Lamb Lollipops: The lamb was cooked to a perfect medium rare, tender, with no strong gamey flavor. A great option even if you're not a fan of lamb! šŸ“ Tiramisu: I’m not a big fan of tiramisu, so I can’t say much, but this one had a unique twist with lemon juice, and it wasn't too sweet! šŸ“ Cheesecake: Blueberries and cheesecake are a perfect match in my book! The cheese flavor wasn't overpowering, with a hint of orange zest. The small portion was just right—not overwhelming at all. šŸ· Drinks: The set menu includes drinks, and the staff mentioned that if you don’t feel like drinking during the meal, you can take the bottle home, or swap it for a cocktail or sparkling drink. The restaurant is cozy with about 10 tables, and just two on the patio. It's not too busy, and even on weekends, you can usually get a walk-in spot without waiting. I really liked it—great service too. I'll definitely be back! #Toronto #TorontoLife #TorontoEats #TorontoFood #TorontoDining #Canada #CozyRestaurant ### Name: Clandestino Address: 1183 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M6J 1X3 Type: Restaurant ###
