Toronto|A Beautiful Meal That’s Truly a Work of Art
This is the most stunning meal I’ve had recently—each dish was crafted with such care that they could be displayed as art pieces. 🎨 💍Appetizers: The first was a spiced crispy cracker with butter 🧈—the presentation was unique, and the cracker was loaded with sesame and cumin, bursting with flavor in every bite. The second was house-made bread: a classic focaccia and another one stuffed with spicy ham. Both were super soft and fluffy. The third was a refreshing set of oyster + crispy foie gras roll + tomato cheese ball. The oyster paired with sweet and sour pickles was incredibly refreshing and my favorite of the three. 💍GRANCHIO AL GUSTO MEDITERRANEO: A beautifully presented crab salad with king crab, salmon roe, and olive paste. The crispy garnish on top was meant to be crushed and mixed in for an even more flavorful bite. Every mouthful was deliciously fresh! 🦀 💍ANATRA ALL' ARANCIA: The duck breast was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked with no gamey taste. The endive and orange sauce complemented the dish beautifully. After finishing the duck, there was a little duck foot filled with foie gras cream and blueberry sauce—creamy, tangy, and absolutely delightful! 🦆 💍SPAGHETTONI: Honestly, I wasn’t a huge fan of this pasta. It was a bit too al dente for my taste—I prefer mine a bit softer. But the truffle mushroom cream sauce was deliciously creamy, and the extra mushrooms were very fresh! 🍝 💍BLACK COD: A favorite—this black cod was incredibly tender, practically melting in your mouth. The miso-based sauce, paired with caviar and oyster mushrooms, elevated the dish to a whole new level of umami. 🐟 💍IL MANZO: Char-grilled wagyu tenderloin, marinated for 12 hours—so tender and flavorful! The sauce was unique with a hint of wasabi, making for an interesting taste. The sides included roasted green peppers and baby bok choy, adding a nice contrast. 🥩 🥭PASSIONE TROPICALE: A tropical fruit platter for dessert, with lime meringue and coconut shaved ice. The best part was the mango jelly with bursting mango pearls—a perfect blend of sweet and tangy flavors. 🍧 🍓BOSCO DELLE FRAGOLE: This was a strawberry sorbet shaped like a real strawberry—so realistic I didn’t realize it was sorbet until I took a bite!
