Toronto | A Must-Return Restaurant from Canada’s Top 100

I’ve wanted to visit Richmond Station for a long time, and it’s finally made it to Canada’s Top 100 Restaurants this year! Many of my friends have been here and all gave great reviews. I finally found a friend who hadn't been yet to join me for a taste! 🚉 Salmon Sashimi: Curious about how Canadian cuisine handles salmon sashimi. The dish was tangy and sweet, paired with radishes and coconut sauce—very appetizing. The green sauce seemed to be made from cantaloupe, but the flavor wasn’t very pronounced. 🚉 PEI Oyster: Not on the menu, but we saw the table next to us ordering it. The server mentioned it wasn’t listed due to its higher price. At $6 🔪 each, these oysters were huge and incredibly fresh. Absolutely delicious! 🚉 Penokean Hills Beef Tartare: Served with lettuce, pickled onions, and mayonnaise. The tartare had a crunchy texture and was finely chopped, giving it a dumpling filling feel. The house-made sourdough was also quite good—perfect with the beef tartare! 🚉 Duo Of Muscovy Duck: Two ways of duck 🦆—duck breast and duck sausage. This was my favorite dish of the evening! The roasted aged duck breast was incredibly tender with crispy skin, while the duck sausage was also tender and flavorful. The side of roasted endive was sweet, and the sauce tasted like a carrot base, adding a sweet touch. 🚉 Koshihikari Rice with Arctic Char: The fish was incredibly tender and oily, with a delightful smoky flavor from the grilled maitake mushrooms. The rice was also tasty, with a unique flavor reminiscent of forest-cooked rice. It was hard to stop eating! 🚉 Molten Choco Cake: I was intrigued by the cake made with 80-90% dark chocolate and red wine sauce. It turned out a bit too sweet, though the red wine and chocolate flavors were rich. The vanilla ice cream served with it was quite nice. 🥂 English Milk Punch & Latido Garnacha: As usual, I went for a cocktail and my friend chose wine. The cocktail was quite enjoyable—a slightly sweet and refreshing choice! Richmond Station doesn’t charge extra for tips; the menu prices already include the tip. For two people, the total was about $100 each. We were very satisfied with the meal and look forward to trying their new chef’s menu next time! #TorontoEats #TorontoDining #FoodieDaily #RestaurantReview #DateNight #HiddenGemRestaurants #CanadaTop100Restaurants ### Name: Richmond Station Address: 1 Richmond St W, Toronto, ON M5H 3W4 Type: Restaurant ###
