Toronto, Canada | Bank-turned-Fine Dining Restaurant with Stunning Dishes
DaNico is open from 5pm to 10pm daily, except Mondays and Tuesdays. This restaurant is a sister to Don Alfonso 1890. For more details, check out my recent review of Don Alfonso 1890 on my profile. Our meal included a premium wine pairing and an upgrade to caviar, making the per-person cost around $460. 🔪✨ ➡️ Tasting Menu Options: 3-Course Menu: $150 🔪 per person 8-Course Menu: $225 🔪 per person, with dessert choices at the end (see the last 2 images for the menu and dessert options) BTW: You can upgrade to caviar before the meal; we opted for this upgrade. ➡️ Wine Pairing Options: Standard Pairing: $120 🔪 Premium Pairing: $200 🔪 (We chose this for a premium experience) ➡️ Comparison with Don Alfonso 1890: Danico is a bit pricier, but the food quality surpasses 1890 by quite a margin. From the appetizers to the main courses—duck breast, fish, steak—the dishes at Danico are on a higher level compared to 1890. The desserts were also exceptional! We enjoyed our choice of two desserts plus a complimentary one. Ambiance-wise: I prefer 1890 for its lake view and brighter setting, but Danico’s environment resembles a church, creating a slightly intoxicatingly romantic atmosphere after dark, perfect for a date night. 🕯️💕 Service: Both restaurants offer excellent service—top-notch in both places! #RestaurantRecommendation #HiddenGems #AmbianceDining #TorontoEats #TorontoFood #TorontoDining #TorontoTravel #TorontoRestaurants #TorontoWeekendSpots ### Name: DaNico Address: 440 College St, Toronto, ON M5T 1T3 Type: Restaurant ###
