Toronto | Comfort Food: Cod Roe Cream Udon
Hungry in the evening, we went out for some food hunting again. Lately, with so much stress, I really needed some comfort food to ease my anxiety! 😌🍽️ ✨ Cream Udon So delicious! The udon noodles are perfectly chewy, coated with a creamy sauce and seaweed—such a satisfying meal! What sets their cream udon apart is the addition of cod roe 🐟 in the cream sauce. The initial taste reminded me of salted egg yolk, and it was incredibly delicious! 😊 ✨ Oden Who can resist a bowl of late-night oden? I absolutely love the soft, braised daikon and the tofu cubes soaked in flavorful broth. 🍢🍲 ✨ Yakitori We ordered a lot of yakitori, haha! The garlic shrimp and premium beef tongue were particularly tasty. The beef tongue was sliced quite thick, and the garlic shrimp had an excellent garlic aroma. 🍤🍖 ✨ Matcha Ice Cream Dorayaki Personally, I found the matcha ice cream dorayaki to be quite average. It tasted like it had been taken out of the freezer and thawed. This dessert took a long time to arrive and wasn’t really worth the wait. There’s also a pudding on their menu that looked promising, so I’ll definitely try that next time. 🍵🍰 #Toronto #TorontoEats #TorontoFoodie #TorontoNightBites #TorontoIzakaya #LateNightEats ### Name: Zakkushi Address: 620 Queen St W, Toronto, ON M6J 1E4 Type: Restaurant ###
