Toronto DT | This Restaurant Is Perfect for a Date 🍷
It’s like a winter haven—every time you walk into this restaurant, the roar of the wind outside is shut out, and you’re enveloped in a sense of calm ❄️. It truly feels like stepping into a cozy and warm environment. 🕯️ Veal Sweetbreads $21: This appetizer was recommended by the waitress, and I initially overlooked it. The menu description didn’t seem special, but after trying three dishes, this one was the most impressive for me and my friend! The combination of wild mushrooms and Marsala wine was fantastic. The veal was incredibly tender, like a chicken nugget. We both agreed that the sauce elevated the dish 🍷🍗. 🕯️ Chicken Liver Agnolotti $24: These chicken liver ravioli were a bit too rich for me, and since I’m not a fan of offal, it wasn’t my favorite. However, if you enjoy chicken liver, you might appreciate the richness of the liver combined with mascarpone. 🕯️ Pork Chop Alla Milanese $32: The pork chop was pink inside, but the slow-cooked meat wasn’t as tender as expected. The thin, crispy coating was great and not greasy, though the sauce was a bit unremarkable 🐖. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, and I’d definitely consider returning to try more dishes 🍽️. Why is it perfect for a date, you ask? 🤓 The dim lighting creates a “dark effect” that’s ideal for reducing both parties' guard and increasing a sense of security 🫶🏻. #TorontoEats #TorontoLife #TorontoDining #DateNightRestaurant #HiddenGem #AtmosphereDining ### Name: Contrada Address: 537 College St, Toronto, ON M6G 1A9 Type: Restaurant ###
