Toronto | First Meal of Spring 🌸🍽️
On a weekday, the place wasn’t crowded, and we managed to get a walk-in spot. It’s rare to find a restaurant that isn’t packed, and the quiet atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. Just the two of us girls, we ordered two appetizers, one main dish, and one side, and we were already quite full. 🫒 Duck Liver Mousse: The foie gras mousse was a bit salty, but paired with sweet little crackers and blueberry jam, it would be great with a glass of wine. 🍷🦆 🫒 Steak Tartare: This is raw beef served with slightly chewy sourdough bread, pickles, and spicy sauce. I love adding the spicy sauce for an extra kick and more complex flavor. 🥩🍞🌶️ 🫒 Halk or Whole Duck: The duck breast was tender, and the duck leg was well-cooked and flavorful. Personally, I preferred the duck breast over the leg. This dish was quite standard. 🍗 🫒 Brussels Provencal: If you like Brussels sprouts, definitely try this. It was the most impressive dish of the meal! The crispy breadcrumbs and salad dressing made it very appetizing. 🥗🥂 This place is truly a hidden gem. The service was excellent, and the staff were all so nice. The ambiance was very cozy, with fresh flowers on every table, making it perfect for a relaxing chat over drinks with friends. It’s close to K Town, so you can take a stroll and browse small shops after your meal. 🌼🍷 #TorontoLife #TorontoEats #TorontoFood #TorontoWeekend #HiddenGem #RestaurantRecommendation #FoodieFinds #TorontoRestaurants ### Name: Chantecler Address: 798 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6G 1L9 Type: Restaurant ###
