Toronto | I Declare ATO the King of Omakase Rolls 🥹
Invited to try ATO’s new “🌸 Sakura Lunch Series” this weekend, and I was super impressed! As an omakase option, it’s incredibly high-value. The food, service, and ambiance were all excellent—definitely a must-recommend! 🌟 🌸 Sakura Lunch Series: 8 pieces of sushi + Scallion Tuna Belly Hand Roll $38 5 slices of sashimi + 8 pieces of sushi + Hand Roll $58 Sashimi/Eel/Wagyu Cod Rice Bowl, etc. $30+ The ingredients are super fresh. Several pieces feature seasonal fish, and the chef tries to preserve the natural taste of the sushi, which I really enjoyed. If you prefer a stronger flavor, just ask the chef to add a bit more soy sauce. The chef was extremely generous with the ikura (salmon roe)—it was practically overflowing onto the plate, making every bite incredibly satisfying. The tamago (sweet omelet) with scallops and shrimp bits, grilled on the stove, was extra fragrant. The Wagyu Cod Rice Bowl was out of this world! A huge serving of super tender Wagyu beef topped with a perfectly matched sauce. One spoonful of Wagyu, cod, salmon roe, and rice, and I was blissfully overwhelmed! We also ordered sea urchin, and I noticed the chef used Hokkaido small river sea urchin, which was incredibly sweet and fresh. #Toronto #TorontoEats #TorontoLife #TorontoDining #ATO #TorontoOmakase #Omakase #CanadianLife ### Name: ATO Japanese Restaurant Address: 16 Vogell Rd, Richmond Hill, ON Type: Restaurant ###
