Toronto | Meat Lovers Must Try Alder 🥩🔥
Sharing my experience dining at Alder. By now, who doesn’t know about this place? It's a restaurant opened by the chef from Alo, focusing on grilling as the main cooking method. The ambiance is great and the service is top-notch! 🌟 🥩 BEEF CARPACCIO $24: This raw beef dish might just be the highlight of the meal! It’s topped with roasted scallions and crispy fried onions, adding a fantastic texture. With a smear of garlic butter sauce, it’s rich and delicious. 🤤 A must-order at every table! 🪵 BAKED CLAMS $20: The clams are baked with butter, making them irresistibly fragrant. The clam meat is tender, topped with some breadcrumbs for crunch, and the sauce has a slight spicy kick. Quite tasty! 🪵 BRAISED SHORT RIB $50: The short rib is braised to perfect tenderness, accompanied by a unique spinach sauce. The onions are sweet and delicious, and there are crispy yam chips on top. The mushrooms are soaked in meat juices—consistently great, and a reliable main course! 🪵 SUCKLING PIG $40: This roasted piglet is quite distinctive. It has a great chew and crispy skin. The sauce is a bit salty but creamy. If the meat gets too rich, the accompanying pickled mustard greens and tangy salad dressing are perfect for cutting through the richness. 🍨 MILLE-FEUILLE $16: A French classic with crispy layers. Breaking into the layers is such a delight! The cream and chocolate sauce are quite rich, so be sure to dip it in the salted caramel on the plate for the best experience. Overall, Alder is pretty good. The seasoning can be a bit strong, but for around $100 per person, it’s a good value. 👍 #TorontoEats #TorontoRestaurants #FoodDaily #RestaurantReviews #HiddenGems #AmbianceDining #DateNightSpot ### Name: Alder Address: 51 Camden St, Toronto, ON M5V 1V2 Type: Restaurant ###
